In this type of Slip Ring Starter stator and the rotor are two distinctive parts that are interconnected. These stator circuits are rated the same as the squirrel cage motor starter, but the rotors have fitted a series of resistors which has helped in controlling the torque of the motor. The range of models is available up to 250 HP.
